English is the official language of the world and learning it is a must in a country who uses it as the second language, like Philippines. It has been one of the subjects taught from the beginning until the end in the academe – from kinder garden to College that is. Always in the curriculum. English is everywhere.
But having said that, there are still a lot who can’t speak or write proper English – learning the language is never easy. There are a lot of things to remember, a lot of things to consider to perfect the language. There are even some English people who can’t speak or write their language properly or tend to forget how to correctly use their language and words. I, for one, cannot speak and write correct English all the time. Well, honestly I just learned it because it is necessary and never learned it by heart plus I am not a born writer (hehehe).
Thus, having a good reference is a great help so I searched the web for a good site to refresh my English knowledge and found this http://www.dailywritingtips.com website – a good reference for English needs. I found the site when I was having a hard time deciding what preposition to use. I really don’t know the author but blogged it anyway. I could have bookmarked it but I don’t really look back to my bookmarks so I decided to write a post about it so I won’t forget.
